Weiler Plastic Surgery is planning a new satellite clinic in downtown Baton Rouge, according to Bryant Voth, the company’s director of operations.
The clinic, opening June 10, will offer limited options such as injections, fillers, botox, as well as certain skin treatments, and will be located near the corner of Laurel and Lafayette streets, above The Massage Emporium.
“We noticed all the developments going on downtown,” Voth told the Downtown Development District board of commissioners this morning. “We’re very excited. We feel like we’re in the right place.”
The daily grind of traffic in the area also led the clinic to open the new office, as Voth says they aim to open more clinics that are easily accessible in the Capital Region in the future.
Dr. Jonathan Weiler founded the company a decade ago in Hammond and quickly expanded into Baton Rouge with a Bluebonnet Boulevard clinic—the clinic’s primary office. The practice last year expanded into Denham Springs, with an office off Range Avenue.
Overall, people spent $16.5 billion last year on cosmetic plastic surgery and minimally invasive procedures—a 4% increase from the previous year. Plastic surgeries are also becoming increasingly common with men, as reported in a recent Business Report cover package.
