    • LSU coach Ed Orgeron says his team is contending with a coronavirus outbreak and resulting quarantines that have made it difficult to know whether a number of starters or regulars will be available for Saturday’s scheduled game against No. 1 Alabama—or whether the game might need to be postponed.  

    • With Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine on track to be authorized as early as next month, governments are facing the enormous logistical challenge of getting enough people shots of the vaccines, The Wall Street Journal reports. Those challenges mean that even if a vaccine is soon approved, it could be many months before it is administered to enough people to ease the need for mitigation measures. 

    • The U.S. topped 10 million cases Monday as global cases surpassed 50 million. The 10 million number was reached just 10 days after the U.S. reached 9 million cases, CNBC reports.
