Roundup: Lamar earnings snapshot / Entergy reports Q4 / Amedisys expands into Oklahoma

    Road signs revenue: Lamar Advertising Co. reported today that it had net income of $95.6 million, or 96 cents per share, in the last quarter of 2018. The Baton Rouge-based outdoor and transit advertising company posted revenue of $427.9 million in the period. For the year, the company reported funds from operations of $544.5 million.     Electric update: New Orleans-based Entergy Corp. today reported a loss of $62.3 million in its fourth quarter. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 60 cents per share. The results beat Wall Street expectations, and the power company posted revenue of $2.51 billion in the period. For the year, Entergy reported profit of $862.6 million, or $4.63 per share.     Acquisition: Baton Rouge home health company Amedisys said Tuesday it has reached a deal to acquire RoseRock Healthcare, a Tulsa, Oklahoma-based hospice provider. The price was not disclosed, and the deal is expected to close April 1. RoseRock provides specialized hospice care to about 200 patients a day in northeastern Oklahoma. Amedisys currently operates six home health care centers in Oklahoma, including an agency in Tulsa, it said in a news release.
