Roundup: Getting gasoline / FEMA reimbursement / Small business aid

Shortages persist: As of Monday morning, 55% of Baton Rouge gas stations reported outages. In New Orleans, the number was 61% and in Lafayette it was 58%, according to the Baton Rouge Area Chamber. The GasBuddy app can help motorists find fuel while also reporting outages.

Generators: The Federal Emergency Management Agency this weekend announced that customers who bought generators and chainsaws to help deal with Hurricane Ida are eligible to be reimbursed for their purchases. Generators, including non-medical, need to be purchased, or rented, prior to Sept. 25, to be considered eligible for reimbursement. Applicants need to upload their receipts to their Disaster Assistance Account for these costs to be assessed. Get more information.

SBA help: The Louisiana Small Business Development Center is hosting a webinar Wednesday at 10 a.m. to help area business owners get a better understanding of what hurricane recovery help is available from the Small Business Administration. Register here.
