    Strategic plan: The Baton Rouge Area Chamber today announced that its early funding campaign efforts have raised $2.49 million in annual commitments from the business and philanthropic community for its upcoming five-year regional strategic plan.     Keynote: The Public Affairs Research Council’s annual conference luncheon Thursday will feature Dow Inc. CEO Jim Fitterling as keynote speaker.     ICYMI: Louisiana health officials testified Monday that there have been no confirmed state deaths related to any of the COVID-19 vaccines. The testimony came during a legislative hearing about injuries from the shots, The News Star reports. State epidemiologist Theresa Sokol said the Louisiana Department of Health has identified 11 “severe adverse events” that could possibly be attributed to COVID-19 vaccines out of 122 reported injuries. The agency has recorded 14,622 deaths from the COVID-19 infection. More than 2.4 million people have initiated the coronavirus vaccine series in Louisiana and 2.2 million people are fully vaccinated in the state, according to the health department. Read more.
