The Capital Region Planning Commission purchased two parcels off South Harrells Ferry Road in a deal that closed this week for nearly $1.2 million.
The property, near the intersection of Millerville and South Harrells Ferry roads, features a 13,000-square-foot building and nearly 2 acres of land. The one-story building was built in 2000 and can accommodate multiple tenants, according to online records.
Representing the commission in the deal were Chairman Riley Bertolet and Executive Director James C. Setze, according to sales documents. The seller was K & I Holding LLC, whose officers are listed as Jack Iverstine and Rowland Kimbrough by the Secretary of State’s website.
According to a resolution submitted with the sales documents, the planning commission may use funds from a 2015 grant to complete necessary renovations to the property. A representative of the commission was unable to be reached for more information before this morning’s deadline.
