Apartments off Burbank sell for nearly $2 million

Broussard Plaza Apartments, off Burbank Drive and Gardere Lane, has sold to a New York developer for $1.96 million.

PFD Group bought the 127-unit complex on Coy Avenue from Baton Associates, a limited partnership whose officer is listed online as Q&L Investments of Baton Rouge Inc., led by A. Larry Tulles.

Rent for a one-bedroom apartment starts at $525, $550 for two bedrooms and $575 for a three-bedroom unit, according to an online listing.

A real estate investment company, the bulk of PFD’s portfolio is located in Baton Rouge, with four other apartment complexes in the city besides Broussard Plaza. The group also owns two complexes in New Orleans and one in the Bronx borough of New York City.
