Luminate, the recently rebranded Louisiana Credit Union League, on Monday opened an office in downtown Baton Rouge.
Based in Harahan, Luminate is a nonprofit trade association that serves Louisiana’s credit unions through legislative and regulatory advocacy, networking opportunities and professional development solutions.
The new Baton Rouge office is located near the intersection of Main and North Seventh streets on the first floor of the La Capitol Federal Credit Union building.
LCUL rebranded as Luminate in July as part of its efforts to “bring new energy” to the association, according to a Facebook video announcing the rebrand. A new website is forthcoming.
“Change is never easy, but it’s almost always necessary,” Luminate Board Chair Steve Webb said in the aforementioned announcement video.
Representatives from Luminate were unable to be reached for comment before this afternoon’s publication deadline.
