The Baton Rouge Area Chamber will have its 2020 annual meeting on March 26 at the LSU Stadium Club, the organization announced Thursday morning.
The organization will share highlights of its work from the past year as well as bestow annual honors such as the D. Jensen Holliday Award, which recognizes a member of the board for exemplary leadership and service. Also to be announced are the Project of the Year Award, spotlighting a significant economic development project from 2019, and the new Business Growth Award, recognizing Capital Region businesses that have experienced significant job growth over the past three years.
The event, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., is open to BRAC investors and non-investors. Following the presentation, there will be a networking reception with hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.
“Economic development is for everyone,” says Adam Knapp, president and CEO of BRAC, in a released statement. “Our organization is the vehicle through which it happens in the Capital Region, and this event is the opportunity for the business community to network and build the relationships that will drive Baton Rouge forward.”
Reserved tables of eight are available for purchase as well as individual tickets at investor and non-investor rates. Organizations with reserved tables will receive wine and snacks exclusively for their tables. Registration is available online.
