Here is a glance at the latest property transactions and issued permits in East Baton Rouge, Ascension and Livingston parishes.

East Baton Rouge 

  • Local investor Carson Narcomey purchased an office property on Kentshire Court near Bluebonnet Boulevard from Pellegrin and Pellegrin LLC for $660,000. The property previously housed independent psychiatric clinic Collaborative Minds.
  • Alvarez Construction bought 16 lots in the Afton Oaks residential development in Zachary from developer Arthur Lancaster for approximately $914,000.
  • Denham Springs company Gur 2 Enterprises purchased a 1.8-acre property at the corner of Greenwell Springs Road and Morgan Road that houses a convenience store and Bellingrath Pharmacy for $2.3 million. Maninder Dhillon and Ramandeep Kaur are the listed officers for Gur 2 Enterprises. Sat Pat Bathla represented the seller.
  • ABC Children’s Learning Academy purchased a former daycare facility property on Exchange Place Drive near Woodale Boulevard for $400,000. The building comprises 6,336 square feet of usable space. Deonquel Riley represented the buyer, while Doherty Michael Jarreau represented the seller, M&J Property Management.
  • A new building permit was issued for a covered drive-through ATM/ITM structure at 10289 Airline Highway. The project is estimated to cost $530,400. Centurion Construction Management is the listed contractor. 
  • A demolition permit was issued for the dock door area with a canopy at the FedEx facility on Coursey Boulevard.

Ascension Parish

  • A new construction permit was issued for the construction of a 4,910 square foot office building with three suites in the Dutchtown Gardens development in Geismar. The project is estimated to cost $750,000. Haddad Contractors is handling the project.
