When JR Construction Solutions was awarded work on Parkway Commons in Lake Charles, the project marked a major milestone for the company. At the time, it was the largest commercial project JR had undertaken, bringing together multiple trades from across South Louisiana to execute coordinated scopes of work with precision and efficiency. The shared goal was to deliver a high-quality product on time to general contractor Grant Etheridge Construction and the development ownership team.
Spanning approximately 18 months from start to finish, Parkway Commons required nearly a year of preconstruction planning, budgeting meetings and schedule development before ground was broken. JR Construction partnered with regional vendors including Stillwater Concrete Pumping of Lafayette, Rock Solid Concrete of Lake Charles, St. Landry Lumber of Opelousas and Venco of Lafayette, emphasizing collaboration and communication at every phase.
