As one of the region’s largest employers, ExxonMobil supports more than 5,000 employee and contractor jobs in the Baton Rouge area and contributes more than $620 million in annual payroll. The company’s impact extends far beyond its facilities, supporting approximately $1 out of every $16 of economic activity in the Baton Rouge area, with nearly 6% of Greater Baton Rouge’s GDP linked to ExxonMobil operations.
ExxonMobil also paid $96.4 million in Louisiana property taxes and invested more than $123 million with qualified small and diverse businesses in 2025.
