Social media influencers and online clinics are making testosterone therapy look like a quick fix for low energy, weight gain, muscle loss and even feeling older. But a social media post isn’t a medical diagnosis. Low testosterone can have many causes, including certain medications, obesity, sleep disorders and chronic health conditions. And not every man with low testosterone needs hormone replacement therapy (HRT). If you’re concerned about symptoms, talk with your doctor.
