The new two-story, 78,500-square-foot Park Elementary School, which opened this year, is nearly twice the size of the original school built in 1955. Staff and teachers worked with Coleman Partners Architects to help design the new school. (Tim Mueller)

Design: Park Elementary School is a 21st-century facility that alllows faculty and staff to educate students using enhanced project-based learning.
