The final touches are being put on the Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital after more than three years of construction, with an Oct. 5 planned opening. The six-story, 457,896-square-foot hospital is located on 66 acres near the OLOL Regional Medical Center. About 500 people will work in the hospital, including roughly 80 doctors. The $230 million Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital was designed by HKS in Dallas and built by Brasfield & Gorrie from Nashville.
