An office building in Weiner Plaza on Lake Sherwood Avenue North was purchased last week by a group of local investors for roughly $1.4 million.
According to sale documents filed Friday afternoon, Baton Rouge-based CSSD Properties, represented by Cale Smith and Scott Daugherty, sold the building at 11440 Lake Sherwood Avenue North to Y. Wright Family LLC, a Lafayette company represented by Yvonne Neal Wright and Nina Wright Faucheaux.
In a phone interview Tuesday, Faucheaux says the company purchased the office building as an investment property. A single tenant, Northwestern Mutual, currently occupies the entire building.
CSSD Properties bought the building from R & C Properties in March 2013 for $1.3 million.
Weiner Plaza is adjacent to the Creekstone Office Park built by Don Joffrion and Edward Rotenberg.
