The Louisiana State Medical Society currently expects to vote “no” on the proposed plan to convert Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana into a stock insurance company as part of the potential sale to Elevance Health, the society’s president says in a letter to state Commissioner of Insurance Jim Donelon.
