SCOTUS won’t hear Texas Stanford case, clearing the way for small recovery

The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to get involved in one of the higher-profile cases in the Stanford Group litigation, clearing the way for the receiver in the case to collect a $132 million settlement from two insurance brokerages involved in the scheme.
