Baton Rouge retailers see little to no boost from state sales tax holiday

Baton Rouge retailers noticed little, if any, difference in business Friday and Saturday, when Louisiana’s state sales tax wasn’t charged on most purchases under a one-time sales tax holiday aimed to help people struggling with the coronavirus pandemic and recovering from hurricanes Laura and Delta.
