Auditors question $6.1M in unemployment payments for state employees

The Louisiana Workforce Commission paid about $6.1 million in state and federal unemployment benefits to 1,054 ineligible recipients identified as state employees who do not appear to have been eligible for the programs, the Legislature’s auditors say.
