Williamson Cosmetic Center plans expansion following $1.7M office buy

Baton Rouge cosmetic surgeon Dr. Jon Perenack and Shelly Esnard of Williamson Cosmetic Center have bought the office at 8150 Jefferson Hwy. that they’ve leased for the past five years for $1.7 million.

Perenack, the center director, and Esnard, a physician’s assistant, plan to add 2,000 square feet to the 8,000-square-foot facility. The center’s eight patient rooms are usually all booked, Perenack says.

“We like to be on the cutting edge of offerings. We just need more space to offer services,” Perenack says, adding construction on the addition will start in December and wrap up in February.

With the additional space, Williamson Cosmetic Center—local across the street from BREC’s Jefferson Highway Park—will dedicate rooms to services such as tattoo removal, nonsurgical tightening, and hair restoration and conservation therapy.

The center also recently began a cosmetic surgery fellowship and also added hormone replacement therapy to its services, according to Perenack.

“(Jefferson Highway) has been a great place to do business,” Perenack says. “It’s helped our business grow just being in the right place.”

Perenack and Esnard—a 2016 Business Report Forty Under 40 honoree—bought the office building from Stephen Wesley, through Jeff.Properties LLC, according to sales documents.
