Jones Walker LLP is relocating its Baton Rouge office to downtown’s City Plaza I building, leaving its longtime home at United Plaza.
“We will completely renovate the top two floors and a portion of another. We expect to move in late 2019,” says Brandon Black, office head of Jones Walker’s Baton Rouge office, in a news release.
The new office space allows the firm to be closer to clients’ offices as well as be near state and federal courts and government offices. Also, the firm says, it demonstrates the commitment of Jones Walker to a thriving downtown Baton Rouge.
GraceHebert Architects will complete the renovation of the City Plaza I space, creating a modern work environment to accommodate the law firm’s 90-member team.
“After nearly 40 years in our current space, we are excited to begin a new chapter,” Black says.
Jones Walker worked with Baton Rouge-based real estate development and property management firm, Wampold Companies, to secure the new office space located at 445 North Boulevard.
Members of CBRE’s Advisory and Transaction Services Group, Ryan Roth, Paul Penland, Charles Gordon and Brandon Clark, represented Jones Walker in the transaction with Wampold.
