‘Best of 225 This Week’: Brews, music and food on tap at Cap City Beer Fest
The Cap City Beer Fest is set for Sunday afternoon in downtown Baton Rouge, offering up a global selection of brews, live music and good eats from local vendors—all benefitting a good cause.
Proceeds from the event—which takes place from noon to 4 p.m. at the intersection of Fourth Street and Spanish Town Road—will go to the Companion Animal Alliance.
“Just because beer is the festival’s main focus doesn’t mean only adults can attend (although you need to be 21 or older to take part in the libations),” Best of 225 This Week reports. “Kids are welcome, as are dogs—just make sure they have a safe way to get home.”
