The final touches are being put on the Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital after more than three years of construction, with an Oct. 5 planned opening. The six-story, 457,896-square-foot hospital is located on 66 acres near the OLOL Regional Medical Center. About 500 people will work in the hospital, including roughly 80 doctors. The hospital includes 80 patient beds, with the capacity to expand to 130. (Tim Mueller)

The $230 million Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital was designed by HKS in Dallas and built by Brasfield & Gorrie from Nashville.
