I found this story to be lacking in background information so I did a little digging. The American Association of University Professors issues an annul report. I pulled the information for the public institutions in LA and found a very intereting statistic. The salaries at LSU and UL-Lafayette are extremely close. I think, while we were distracted by Katrina, Gov. Blanco was doing some home cooking. Did anyone else see that allowing the Gov's husband to continue to work at an institution that his wife had direct control of was a huge problem?
