Working with a myriad of individuals to secure more than $321 million in construction dollars; diversified the revenue stream for the airport and its operations.

In the first grade – stacking empty soft drink bottles for 50 cents per hour on Sunday afternoons at Bet-R Grocery Store.

If you could change one thing about Baton Rouge, what would it be?
Less dependence and complaining about government and more proactive support of developments to increase the opportunities to spend dollars in a multitude of venues. The faster dollars change hands, the more tax is collected thus reducing some of the need for additional taxes.
What is your greatest hope for Baton Rouge?
Continue to remove the blinders and promote multi-faceted developments and learn from what is happening in other communities around the country and the world.
What is your greatest fear for Baton Rouge?
Acceptance of the statement, “Baton Rouge deserves everything it does not get.”

The Banks Community is very appreciative of the funding made available to sound proof Banks Elementary and selected homes within the community through the Noise Abatement Program- However, at some point in the near future please share with the community what is currently being done to speed up the process to have the homes previously excluded (based on diagram) from the noise abatement program - be reconsidered. There has been little to no activity and the program appears to be long forgotten about. What is the status and future plans of the Noise Abatement Program in the Banks Community?
