A group of Gonzales doctors have purchased a site across from St. Elizabeth Hospital that will be leased by Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. The property on La. 30 was sold last month for a little more than $1 million to a group including Dr. John Fraiche, Dr. Craig Vitrano and Dr. Rao Narra. That site will be home for the Southeast Louisiana Radiation Oncology Group, a $6 million radiation treatment center that will open in spring 2008.
