Tanner bought the University Acres estate from Saban for $2.75 million in summer 2005, about half a year after Saban left LSU for the NFL’s Miami Dolphins. In December 2007, Tanner swapped the estate with attorney Jerry Dodson in exhange for nearly 1.8 acres between Perkins Road and Interstate 10 and $400,000 cash. Last month, Tanner repurchased the house from Dodson for $2.8 million. The estate sits on about 15 acres. The main house consists of four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and a three-car garage. Tanner bought the 5,271-square-foot home in Country Club of Louisiana from Jacques de la Bretonne and his wife, Paula Pennington, for $1.75 million in March 2006.
