The state has purchased the parking garage at the corner of Third and Convention streets for $1.2 million. The Division of Administration bought the property from Columbia Theatre Inc. in a deal that closed last week. The deal caps off a long-term lease purchase agreement the state had for the parking garage. The full value of the property and garage was appraised at $2.07 million; Columbia Theatre donated the $870,000 difference.
