Bossier Shale will expand opportunities

(From The Shreveport Times) MANSFIELD — The Bossier Shale hasn't received as much attention as the higher-producing Haynesville Shale; but initial production results are encouraging enough that it also is expected to become a major player in the development of natural gas fields in parts of north Louisiana and east Texas, an industry spokesman said this week in Mansfield.
