Schneider Paper Products has signed a deal to lease more than 11,300 square feet of storage space on North Street near Foster Drive. Hampton Obier, a commercial agent with Stirling Properties, says the company took the space to secure its Baton Rouge base. Schneider, which distributes commercial and institutional products, moved a majority of its holdings from New Orleans to Baton Rouge after Hurricane Katrina. "The majority of their holdings are now in Baton Rouge," he says. Obier says the location was appealing since it backs up to Schneider's headquarters.
