N.O. lands Starbucks convention

(From The Times-Picayune) Starbucks Coffee Co. will hold its annual leadership conference in New Orleans this year. The meeting will mark the first time the gathering of store managers and field leaders has been held outside Seattle. The 10,000-attendee meeting represents a major coup for the convention business, which is searching for ways to plug holes in this year's fall calendar.
