LSU sees highest number of freshman applicants

(From The Daily Reveille) Students may find the walkways of campus harder to navigate in the fall as a record number of freshmen apply to LSU. The university has seen the largest number of applicants in its history with 15,122 students seeking admittance for the fall semester, said Mary Parker, executive director of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Student Aid.
