Application to expand nuclear site accepted

(From The Times-Picayune) The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has accepted Entergy Corp.'s application to build a second nuclear reactor at its River Bend power plant near St. Francisville, the regulatory agency said Wednesday, kicking off the 30-month review of the proposal.
