(From The Washington Post) CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Last weekend, 18 days after Barack Obama decisively defeated their candidate for president, a mostly Republican crowd of self-described conservatives received their first introduction to someone many prominent members of the GOP think could be the party's own version of Obama.

To consider Bobby Jindal to be the Republican's Barack Obama is like considering The Great Gatsby to be equivalent to a Hardy Boys novel. Barack Obama is all packaging, symbolism over substance. Bobby Jindal is substance! If you heard Bobby Jindal during his "updates" after the storms, he had such a mastery of the facts. I can't wait to hear him in a debate with Barack Obama. Obama does not have the vocabulary to go head-to-head with him.
