I love working with people; developing relationships with our clients; I enjoy the design process (well, most of it!) and the satisfaction of having a pleased client in the end.

Reaching the 20 - year anniversary of my firm – this year!!
What was your first job?
Babysitting, then gift wrapping for Christmas in a clothing store.
Who do you most admire in the local business community and why?
It wouldn’t be one person – it would be a group: those who have been fortunate to succeed in the BR Community and have chosen to give back to the community through their leadership, their volunteerism, their charitable contributions. These people don’t take Baton Rouge for granted.
If you started over, what would you do differently?
I wouldn’t change a thing: I believe everything happens for a reason and I am who I am and where I am because of the good and the bad that I’ve experienced and what I’ve learned and gained from those experiences.
What do you do to unwind?
Spend time with family and friends, go to the beach, read a good book.
What is your favorite weekend activity?
Spend time with family and friends, spending the day with my daughter shopping and having girl’s lunch, go to the beach, read.

Favorite movie: It’s a chick-flick - Somewhere in Time (with Jane Seymore and Christopher Reeves)

My family
If you could change one thing about Baton Rouge, what would it be?
I wish Baton Rouge would be more open to change, get out of the ‘old’ way of doing things and be receptive to more progressive ways of approaching ideas.

Change
