If you’re going to do something, do it right and at the best of your ability (from my dad)
Who do you most admire in the local business community and why?
My wife Shelly, owner of SB Wellness Group. The way she juggles her career, taking care of our two girls and our household is amazing. She is a very positive and loving person.
If you could have any job other than your own, what would it be?
Owner of a sports team
What is the greatest personal or professional obstacle you've overcome?
Personal – Dealing with the issue of the death of my little sister (this happened when I was 20 years old)
Professional - Moving to Houston to take a new job in a tenured office and being expected to perform at their level even though I was the rookie.
If you started over, what would you do differently?
Take my education more seriously. It was hard to stay focused working 40 hours a week.
What is your prescription for life?
Balance, work hard, time for family, time for friends

A place to workout. It’s my lifeline, keeps me sane.
If you could change one thing about Baton Rouge, what would it be?
The traffic. I’m with the majority on this one.
What is your greatest hope for Baton Rouge?
More entertainment for young professionals. Just got back from Chicago and it was awesome.
What is your greatest fear for Baton Rouge?
It will keep itself in the dark ages, entrenched in politics and not being progressive.
