Why do you do what you do?
In Girl Scouts, I have the opportunity to support the girls who will lead our community in the future. Ensuring that girls have access to resources and an environment that fosters the development of courage, confidence and character is an awesome responsibility. It is different everyday and always a lot of fun!
What is your greatest professional accomplishment?
Leading the local Girl Scout council through national realignment.

What is the best advice you've ever received?
God gave us two ears and one mouth – use them proportionately.
Who do you most admire in the local business community and why?
Bob Davidge, CEO at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, because he leads by example – quietly, thoughtfully and firmly grounded in the mission and values of his organization.
If you could have any job other than your own, what would it be?
Philanthropist
What is the greatest personal or professional obstacle you've overcome?
Balancing motherhood and a career.
If you started over, what would you do differently?
Nothing. I’ve learned lessons from the good and the bad in my life. Each one leads to the next.

If you could change one thing about Baton Rouge, what would it be?
Public school system and the traffic light at Coursey and Airline
What is your greatest hope for Baton Rouge?
That the public schools can achieve performance levels that inspire confidence from our citizens and stop families from leaving the parish in search of better education.
What is your greatest fear for Baton Rouge?
As a community, we will fail to achieve Mayor Holden’s vision for “One Baton Rouge.”
