Communications and Media
Cynthia Colalillo has joined St. George Catholic Church and School as director of communications and development. Colalillo has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and fundraising for the nonprofit sector. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the National Committee on Planned Giving.
Renee Baker was named state director of the National Federation of Independent Business, a small business advocacy association. Her responsibilities include lobbying on behalf of members as well as overseeing small-business grassroots activity across the state and serving as media spokesperson.
Education
MaryAnn Coleman has been named president of the Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities. Coleman previously served as the organization’s senior vice president. She has been with the association for 20 years.
Financial and insurance
Sandra B. Rodriguez was named director of investor relations for Albemarle Corporation. Rodriguez joined the company’s corporate finance group in 1994. She previously worked in public accounting for Deloitte & Touche.
Damien Dyer joined American Gateway Bank as branch manager and bank officer for the Burnside location in Gonzales. Dyer previously served as vice president and branch manager at IberiaBank in Baton Rouge.
Claudia Day joined American Gateway Bank as branch manager and bank officer for the Florida Boulevard location. Day has 25 years’ experience in the banking industry. She previously served as vice president and branch manager at Whitney National Bank.
Government
Ricky Adams was named chief criminal deputy by Sheriff-elect Sid Gautreaux. Adams previously served as LSU’s police chief; he had served with the university’s police department since 1983. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Capital Area Regional Training Academy.
Health care
Jeff Jarreau was named assistant human resources officer for North Oaks Health System. He has served the system since 1991, including previous stints as employee services director in change of human resources, the employment center and the heath system’s benefits and compensation program.
Industry
Gretchen LeBlanc was named responsible care leader for Dow’s Louisiana Operations site in Plaquemine. She will be responsible for the overall safety, environmental and compliance performance of the site. She has served the company since 1981, most recently as energy systems production leader.
