Warren Jones has been hired as vice president of business operations for Cox Commuications. Jones was previously with Cox’s corporate office, serving as director, competitive strategy and retention.
Colleen Levy has joined Cox Communications as vice president of sales and marketing. Levy joins Cox from BellSouth/AT&T, where she recently served as director of retail marketing.
Tammy Boudreaux has joined TILT as an office and production manager. Boudreaux will be responsible for client and vendor coordination as well as print and digital project management. She previously worked as an office and production manager for Object 9.

Rene Taylor has been named executive director of Family Service of Greater Baton Rouge. She was vice president of Family Service of Greater New Orleans for more than 10 years.
Education
Doris Carver, associate vice chancellor of research and economic development and professor of computer science at LSU, will chair the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Inc., Fellow Committee for 2008. The committee is responsible for recommending IEEE members for the status of “fellow,” recognizing distinction in the their profession.
Harold D. Dupuy has been named development director of Catholic High School. He will complete 30 years with the Information Technology Division of the Department of Social Services in October before assuming his new position in November.
Michael Tipton has been named executive director for Teach for America-South Louisiana. He will lead a staff of four and more than 70 corps members. His duties will include program management, growth strategy, fundraising and fostering and expanding TFA’s school and district relationships.
Financial & Insurance
M.E. “Skip” Cotaya III has been named senior vice president of Hancock Bank. He serves as a regional sales manager of Hancock Bank of Louisiana’s indirect lending department.
Health care
Kendall Johnson has been promoted to vice president of financial operations and treasury at Baton Rouge General. Johnson joined the hospital in 1995 from Ernst & Young and has served in several financial leadership roles within the hospital.
Dewitt Coleman has joined United Home Care Services as chief information officer. Coleman previously served as department head at ITI Technical College. He will oversee all information and technology systems for the seven home health agencies and the corporate office.
Industry
Troy Allen has been named the 2007 Chairman of Associated Builders and Contractors National Environmental Health & Safety Committee. Allen is senior director of Environmental Health & Safety for The Shaw Group Inc.’s Environmental & Infrastructure Group.
Brian K. Ferraioli is CFO of the Shaw Group. He previously served as vice president and controller for Foster Wheeler Ltd. and is the permanent replacement for Bob Belk, who is on medical leave. Belk will return to the company as executive vice president.
Law
Taylor Porter has added Patrick D. Seiter, Ann M. Halphen and Amy C. Lambert to their team of attorneys. Seiter joins the firm as a partner with more than 22 years of experience. Halphen joins as a partner with more than 21 years of litigation experience. Lambert joins the firm as a partner with 11 years of litigation experience.
Burton LeBlanc, name partner in LeBlanc & Waddell, has been elected to the executive committee for the American Association for Justice. He previously served on the AAJ’s board of governors as well as three other committees within the organization.
Non-profit
Nadine Jarmon has been chosen as CEO of the Road Home Corporation. Jarmon has 13 years of housing-related experience and holds a doctorate in urban and public affairs. She will work to help citizens impacted by Katrina and Rita move to the next phase of redeveloping their communities.
David Torns has been chosen as assistant conductor of the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra. Torns is BRSO’s current music director of its Louisiana Youth Orchestras program. He will conduct the outreach and educational concerts, while continuing to maintain responsibility for the Louisiana Youth Orchestras’ programs.
Graig A. Luscombe has been appointed executive director of the Louisiana Retired Teachers Association. He will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the association and will work directly with the executive board and 11 district presidents.
Real Estate
Karl Landreneau has been named director of commercial sales and leasing for Latter & Blum’s Baton Rouge and Lafayette offices. Landreneau is the 2007 president of the Louisiana Certified Commercial Investment Member Chapter and will begin a three-year term on CCIM’s National Board of Directors next year.
Transportation
The Louisiana Motor Transport Association Inc. has elected officers for 2007-08: Larry Terrell, Northlake Moving and Storage Inc., chairman; Rick Cleveland, Petron Inc., president; Martin Frisard, Frisard’s Trucking Company Inc. first vice president; Jody Guillory, L&B Transport, second vice president; and Sam Lampo, Quality Transport Inc., secretary/treasurer.
