Sixth salesman joins harassment suit against Gerry Lane
A sixth salesman of Gerry Lane Enterprises Inc. has joined the lawsuit filed Thursday in the 19th Judicial District Court against the local car dealership and its longtime owner, Gerald R. Lane. Dwayne Postell joined the suit today, alleging a racially hostile work environment that has caused extreme emotional distress. Postell, who is black, began working for the dealership in 2004; late last month he notified its management of his intent to sue. The suit alleges he has faced retaliatory action since. For more information on the initial suit filed Thursday, read a Daily Report story here. To read the complete 14-page petition filed by Postell today, click here.
