Cook: Dealership on Florida Boulevard sells; new dental office planned in Central
The J.D. Byrider used-car dealership on the south side of Florida Boulevard, just east of South Sherwood Forest Boulevard, sold on April 30 for $550,000. Mathew Laborde and Tigue Bonneval with Beau Box Commercial Real Estate brokered the transaction. According to Laborde, the 2.26-acre site encompasses more than 30,000 square feet of concrete paving and a building of about 6,600 square feet, meaning the sale price works out to about $83.50 per square foot. The property had been marketed recently for over $900,000. Coastal Commerce Bank is the seller, and the purchaser is Big Dog Group LLC, represented by John Rogers. The property will continue to be operated as a used-car lot.
—Dr. Vance Misuraca recently purchased property on Wax Road in Central on which he plans to build a 5,000-square-foot pediatric dental and orthodontic facility. The lot is just across the street from Central High School. The 1.07-acre property closed on May 3 for $300,000, which works out to about $6.50 per square foot. Randy Herring and Grey Hammett of Mike Falgoust & Associates brokered the transaction.
