'225': 11 ways to improve Baton Rouge
Mayor Kip Holden talks about making Baton Rouge "America's next great city," but what does that phrase actually mean? Chances are it means different things to different people. With help from a nine-person "pop-up think tank," 225 lays out 11 actionable suggestions for making Baton Rouge a better place to live. Ideas include leveraging our passion for sports to build our city's brand, creating a student loan repayment fund to attract young talent, and banning smoking in bars. Readers are encouraged to submit their own ideas for possible publication in future issues. Read the complete cover story by Maggie Heyn Richardson and Jeff Roedel in the new issue of 225 here.
